Lokesh Rahul is a famous Indian cricketer who plays for the Indian team, recently playing victorious at the 2019 Cricket World Cup. Rahul was born on 13 January 1990 and started his cricketing career by representing India’s under 19s team as he was just 17 years old. However, his first appearance in a senior first-class match came when he was just 18 years old.

Rahul made his One Day International debut shortly afterward. He became the youngest ever cricketer to score a fifty at an international level when he scored 51 against South Africa at Durban in 2015. Rahul made his Test debut against Australia in 2016 and became the youngest Indian to take a wicket in Tests. He then scored his maiden Test fifty in the next match against Australia at Bengaluru.

He was named in India’s T20I squad for the tour of South Africa and played three matches on tour. He made his international T20 debut during the back-to-back ODI series against England, where he scored centuries against both teams. Rahul was part of India’s team that won the Under-19 Cricket World Cup, held in Bangladesh in 2010.

Beginning Of His Cricket Career

Rahul was named in India’s squad for the 2011 Under-19 Cricket World Cup held in Sri Lanka, where he scored 190 runs from four matches with a high score of 90.
