Kuldeep Yadav used to have aspirations of being a fast bowler, but fate had other plans for him. Chinaman bowlers are quite a rare breed, and KKR is fortunate to own one. This far in the IPL, Kuldeep has had a remarkable run. In the 2018 auction, KKR paid Rs 5.8 crores for UP boy, who has become consistent on the Indian side. In the IPL, his match-winning session (4-20) against Rajasthan Royals in 2018 still is his finest bowling performance.

The left-arm spinner rose to prominence after a stunning performance throughout the 2014 U19 World Cup, when he became the only Indian bowler to record a hat-trick in the championship’s history. IPL career

Yadav signed an Indian Premier League deal with the MI in 2012, but after making news for his googly in the nets that defeated Sachin, he failed to produce the playing 11 in his first season. 2 years later, he got shifted to the KKR, although he did not play a game. The KKR franchise gave Kuldeep his due during the IPL 2016, and he did not disappoint. Over the course of three matches, the left-arm slow bowler picked up six wickets. Nevertheless, the presence of Brad Hogg diminished his chances. Prior to the 2017 Indian Premier League, KKR invested more in their potent weapon, having retained it for 40 lakhs.

In addition, Kuldeep picked up 12 wickets in 12 matches. His breakout year of 2018 saw him make rapid strides both internationally and in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Also in the same edition, he became the first Indian player to receive the Man of the Match award. As many as four wickets were taken by Kuldeep against RR in KKR’s convincing win.

IPL 2022

In a deal worth INR 2 crore, the Delhi Capitals acquired left-arm wrist-spinner, Kuldeep Yadav. As a national player, he has had amazing exploits across all categories while he has taken wickets. Chinaman bowlers are a rare breed, and his ability to be one of those has always been a strength for Delhi Capitals.
